Bourbon was always a drink I would see all my Cigar buddies pairing with their cigars. Initially I wasn't interested but finally I broke down after countless friends always saying how good it paired. My first glass was regular basil hayden and I was impressed how well it paired with my cigar. My brother had always been a bourbon fan and was telling me how hard it was to get Blantons. From that challenge there I was hooked and Met Pat standing in line at Cedar Crest FWGS and we hit it off right away. My earliest memories of Derek are hanging out in the winter with shorts and flip flops on waiting for a bottle. We all just hit it off and started golfing together, getting together and sampling and just having a great time in each other's company. From there is how Big Dog Bourbon became what it is today.
